My role at The Ortus Club is Account Manager and Team Leader, where I manage several client accounts and oversee a team of six members. I am incredibly proud of their hard work and the results they achieve. At The Ortus Club, dedication and hard work are highly valued and recognised. Successfully managing numerous projects, along with my hard work and proactive attitude, contributed to my promotion and advancement to the next level.
The journey to this position involved continuous learning, adapting to new challenges, and demonstrating leadership potential through various projects and initiatives. My ability to build strong relationships with clients and mentor team members played a crucial role in my career progression.
Staying in touch with clients and ensuring everything meets their expectations is incredibly exciting. Engaging in high-level discussions and exchanging ideas are vital aspects of my role that I find both important and thrilling. Additionally, having the opportunity to support and improve my colleagues as their leader is a significant source of motivation for me.
The dynamic nature of the role, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities, keeps me on my toes and fuels my passion for the job. Witnessing the tangible impact of our work on clients’ businesses and the professional growth of my team members adds an extra layer of excitement to my daily responsibilities.
Being an account manager also allows me to be at the forefront of industry trends and innovations, constantly learning from thought leaders and executives across various sectors. This exposure not only enriches my professional knowledge but also enables me to contribute strategically to our clients’ success, making each project a unique and rewarding experience.

The most challenging aspect is when projects don’t progress as expected, particularly with difficulties in guest acquisition and other areas. It’s essential to push past these fears, generate new ideas, and continually strive for improvement. At The Ortus Club, there’s a strong culture of support, with every department and individual ready to help you overcome any obstacles. To address these challenges, I’ve developed a proactive approach that involves regular team brainstorming sessions, leveraging data analytics to identify trends and opportunities, and maintaining open lines of communication with clients to manage expectations and quickly address any concerns.
Continuous professional development and staying updated with industry trends also help me navigate complex situations more effectively. Furthermore, I’ve learned to view challenges as opportunities for growth and innovation. By fostering a resilient mindset within my team, we’ve been able to turn potential setbacks into learning experiences, often leading to improved processes and creative solutions that benefit both our clients and the company as a whole. This approach has not only helped us overcome immediate obstacles but has also contributed to our long-term success and adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry.

I am determined to continue improving, advancing, and taking on new challenges, striving for higher positions within the company, as this is truly what I aspire to achieve.
