I’m a Senior Project Coordinator, and I earned this position through dedication and a passion for delivering results. My promotion was a reflection of the effort I put into growing within the company and the support of the amazing mentors and team members who guided me along the way.
One of the most memorable events for me was my first project with Fortinet. It stands out because it was my first major challenge as a newbie. We often talk about “newbie luck,” but for me, luck wasn’t the deciding factor—my team was.
The project was tough, but I felt incredibly fortunate to have such supportive colleagues like Frances, Roman, Vito, and others, who were there every step of the way. I still vividly remember how my seniors, Roman and Vito, went over my task lists with me, helping me understand and execute my day to day. Frances, in particular, was influential as a mentor, teaching me the skills and values I carry with me today as a Guesting Director. That event wasn’t just a learning experience—it was the foundation of my growth.
The most challenging part of my role is learning how to step up. As a Senior Project Coordinator, my role isn’t just about managing projects—it’s about leading by example and mentoring others to step into similar roles.
To overcome this, I focus on sharing what I’ve learned and empowering my team to take on greater responsibilities. I believe that mentorship isn’t just about teaching skills; it’s about instilling confidence and fostering growth. Balancing the demands of my own tasks while nurturing newbies has been a fulfilling challenge.
My guiding principle is simple: show up every day with an open mind and a willingness to learn and contribute. I believe in being receptive to feedback from those around me and always looking for ways to improve.
Curiosity drives me—I strive to stay curious about how I can help others and make an impact. Being a team player, sharing knowledge, and staying adaptable are values that fuel my performance and growth.

I often reflect on something Jess shared during one of our end-of-day discussions—a dream of Ortus becoming part of a larger marketing firm or umbrella organisation with greater resources. For me, this vision means more opportunities and the chance to be part of something even bigger.
As we move towards that future, I see myself continuing to contribute by embracing new roles, taking on more challenges, and sharing what I’ve learned with those around me.
