Tell us about your role at The Ortus Club and how you got there.

As the Client Director at The Ortus Club, I am dedicated to fostering meaningful conversations that drive business growth and industry insights. Over the years, I’ve refined my skills in consultative sales, enabling organisations to engage with the right decision-makers in environments that prioritise value-driven discussions.

At Ortus, we are not just selling roundtables—we are creating spaces where leaders exchange ideas, gain fresh perspectives, and forge strategic connections. Each day presents an opportunity to challenge conventional networking and continuously refine our approach, ensuring that our executive roundtables remain unparalleled.

This role has provided me with a unique chance to seek opportunities and build relationships across the globe. I’ve been fortunate to witness executive conversations that have led to collaborations and industry-leading partnerships. Collaborating with top-tier professionals across various sectors has greatly shaped the way I approach networking and relationship-building.

 

What makes you the best at what you do? What values drive you to perform even better?

Although my background isn’t traditionally in sales, I’ve always had a passion for achievement and tangible results—something that is evident in the sales process. The challenge and dynamic nature of sales keeps me engaged, as each day presents a new opportunity to connect and create value.

The core values that drive me are responsibility, a desire for growth, and a commitment to continuous improvement. I firmly believe that success comes from staying focused on delivering value and ensuring that both my team and clients are empowered to grow.

The events marketing industry is a force of innovation, and I believe The Ortus Club is well-positioned to lead this transformation. Over the years, Ortus has proven itself as a frontrunner, constantly exploring new platforms to reach audiences, from two-day retreats and golf tournaments to LinkedIn Live events. As business goals and audience interests evolve, Ortus will continue to adapt, remaining resilient and at the forefront of these changes.

As part of this journey, my role is to drive growth, create lasting connections, and keep pushing the boundaries of how we engage with our clients and partners.

 

 

If you could invite any guest (past or present) to one of our events, who would it be and why?

Present: Beyoncé—She’s a true force of nature and a triple threat with a career that has become legendary. Beyond her unparalleled talent, she exemplifies an incredible work ethic, discipline, and grounding that’s inspiring. Her ability to overcome shyness and perform with confidence has personally influenced my own public speaking journey.

Past: Nikola Tesla—A true eccentric genius who probably invented half of what powers our modern world but somehow never got enough credit for it. If I could have him at an event, I’d love to dig into his visionary mind. Tesla would make networking… electrifying.
