From her first successful event to her current efforts to push beyond her comfort zone, Nushe continues to evolve both professionally and personally with The Ortus Club.
What does a typical day at The Ortus Club look like?
The day may vary depending on the number and type of events being managed, but overall, my day is all about bringing people together and making sure our events run smoothly. I start by creating lead lists based on project briefs, and carefully gathering data like names, emails, and job titles. I love personalising email invitations and reaching out to potential guests, making each interaction warm and engaging. I also enjoy building relationships with moderators and industry experts to ensure events are amazing. Working closely with other departments, I focus on improving our events and making them memorable experiences for everyone involved.
What’s the most challenging part of your role, and how do you overcome this challenge?
The most challenging part of my role at Ortus is that no two days are the same. You never get bored, but it also means you can find yourself in situations you’ve never encountered before. This unpredictability can be stressful at times, especially when circumstances arise that are out of our control. However, staying practical and mindful in these moments is key to overcoming challenges. I also rely on the support of my colleagues, who are always there to help when needed.
What is one of the most memorable events that comes to mind?
Choosing just one memorable event is tough because, thankfully, all my events have been successful, and I’ve never had a terrible experience. When I reflect on the projects I’ve managed and the people who rely on me during these events, it’s truly rewarding. However, my very first event at Ortus in Paris stands out. It was a jumpstart that made me love my job.
What’s one achievement you are particularly proud of?
I’m really proud of how I’ve been pushing myself out of my comfort zone to spend more time with others. I’m an ambivert, so I enjoy both socialising and having time for myself. However, I’ve noticed that if I spend too much time alone, I start leaning more towards being an introvert.
Making an effort to connect and communicate with people throughout the day has helped me grow and evolve. It’s been such a rewarding experience, bringing out a new side of me. As a psychologist, I love analysing behaviours, including my own—haha! Observing my tendencies and challenging myself to be more social has been a big personal achievement for me.

What is your Ortus superpower?
Hmm, it’s really hard thinking about my Ortus superpower; I might say my proactive nature—though I’ll admit, I’ve had to ask others because I’m too modest to say it myself hahahaha.
My managers often point it out as one of my strengths. I always try to stay a step ahead, aiming to prevent issues before they even think about showing up. Solutions, not problems—that’s the goal. Plus, if being resilient and making everyone love me is a side effect, well, I won’t complain hahaha.
What do you think the future holds for The Ortus Club? What role will you play towards it?
The Ortus Club has been an extraordinary place for me, unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced. In such a short time, I’ve grown both professionally and personally, thanks to the incredible people here. What makes Ortus truly special is the community we’ve built together. I firmly believe that with such a supportive and passionate group, we can achieve so many wonderful things. Our unique goals keep us grounded, especially during challenging moments, and I have no doubt that Ortus will continue to accomplish amazing things.
