A more mature organisation may focus on predictive analytics, AI-driven decisioning, or data monetisation. The goal is not to do everything at once, but to move the organisation from point A to point Z through a structured maturity roadmap.
A well-defined roadmap ensures efficiency, faster customer response times, and a clear link between investment and business outcomes.”

“AI is widely recognised as the next major phase of industrial evolution. At an individual level, digital assistants are already reshaping productivity. At the enterprise level, companies like SAP, Microsoft, and Oracle are embedding AI directly into their platforms so users can interrogate data in natural language and automate routine decisions.
However, most of these capabilities still operate in silos. The real enterprise value will emerge when AI agents can move across platforms, orchestrate workflows end-to-end, and make context-aware decisions without human intervention. That is where the hype stops and true transformation begins.
The biggest barrier is not the technology. It is governance. If an AI agent can traverse systems, how do we ensure it doesn’t surface sensitive HR data, trigger unintended financial actions, or violate regulatory boundaries? Without strong data classification, security controls, and cross-platform governance, AI becomes a risk multiplier rather than a value driver.
Enterprise-level AI value will only materialise when organisations invest in the right foundations: clean data, interoperable architectures, robust governance, and clear accountability models. I am currently working with the Global GS1 organisation to help shape AI governance frameworks using trusted data standards that enable industry, startups, and cross-border government/agencies to adopt AI responsibly and confidently.”
How do you balance Transformational and Transactional leadership?

“If I had to describe the role in two words, they would be transformational and transactional. Transformational leadership is about anticipating and driving change, while transactional leadership is about delivering on commitments with consistency and discipline. A modern leader must excel at both — executing reliably today while steering the organisation toward its future state.
When it comes to organisational leadership, the approach should be a combination of servant leadership, foresight, and accountability. Servant leadership, to me, means removing obstacles, enabling people to succeed, and absorbing pressure rather than transferring it to the team. Emotional discipline is essential; a leader must create clarity and guide decision-making calmly, especially in high-stakes environments.
Leadership is always situational. At times, it requires empathy and support, and at other times firmness and authority to protect standards, ensure alignment, and maintain momentum. The ability to shift between these modes, without losing consistency of purpose, is what ultimately drives long-term transformation.”

“The most important trait is continuous learning. Leaders cannot afford to become observers. You must stay hands-on, understand emerging technologies, and anticipate where the market is heading.
Throughout my career, I’ve intentionally moved across industries and invested in learning, from executive programmes in strategy, innovation, Sustainability & green economy all the way to AI and digital transformation courses. Future leaders must be able to shape direction, not just approve it. Curiosity, adaptability, and informed decision-making are what keep leaders relevant in 2026 and beyond.
