On a Mission to Share Knowledge:
Eight Years of The Ortus Club

Author: The Ortus Club Date: May 2026

Over the span of eight years, The Ortus Club has hosted 1,000+ memorable executive knowledge-sharing experiences for 16,000+ decision-makers in over 40 countries worldwide.

In 2015, Samuel Adcock and Jessica Circi’s desire to help top-level executives build stronger, more intimate business relationships with their peers laid the foundation of The Ortus Club. Their pioneer team of four, made up of former publishers and field experts, kicked off the company’s quest to transform the B2B marketing sphere by successfully hosting their first event with KMC Savills in Sydney, Australia.

Now, The Ortus Club is hosting events for industry giants like Cloudflare, and is nearly 140-strong across multiple departments operating worldwide. The Ortus Club continues to fulfil its mission to create environments that enable the genesis and growth of meaningful business relationships.

Generating executive insights on pressing business challenges

The Ortus Club has cemented its place in the B2B Marketing sphere by creating spaces that empower C-level executives to connect with peers and explore different perspectives in their industry. Over the last eight years, the company has been perfecting curating insightful topics for events to ensure they address contemporary issues and evolving business trends.

Alongside industry titans like Visa, Zendesk, Sprout, and SAP, The Ortus Club has been able to provide invaluable insights critical to its guests’ business success. Through these events, The Ortus Club helped its client-partners connect with like-minded leaders and opened up discussions for collaboration and projects to spark revenue growth.

An ever-growing roster of stellar moderators has played no small role in guiding executive conversations and encouraging leaders to share valuable insights during The Ortus Club’s knowledge-sharing events. These moderators have helped The Ortus Club foster an environment conducive to top-level decision-makers speaking freely and confidently. Through these discussions, the company has been able to publish reports that clients and guests alike can take as valuable post-event references to aid in the growth of their businesses.

“Dialogue among top-level executives is not the only element that makes an Ortus experience thought-provoking.”

Building a platform that creates thought-provoking content

The Ortus Club’s platform evolved into a strategic engine for executive alignment, moving beyond traditional networking into high-level knowledge exchange. During the pandemic, the company launched its virtual events space as an option for decision-makers to convene for discussion in the midst of travel bans and other complications. Today, virtual roundtables are regularly sought after by clients who wish to open executive discourse opportunities to guests on a global scale.

Part of curating engaging events is doing in-depth research on guests. The Ortus Club makes it a point to determine each guest’s challenges and goals in relation to the subject of discussion and to find the right combination of peers to join the conversation and cultivate productive dialogue. This outreach occurs during the lead-up to events, and will be followed up 7-10 days prior to the venue doors opening to confirm attendance and gather any additional information or concerns that may have been missed.

Through this approach, The Ortus Club has consistently achieved stellar attendance rates for its executive knowledge-sharing events.

Fostering invaluable long-term business relationships

For those who haven’t had an opportunity to attend one of The Ortus Club’s events, the company maintains a pitch-free policy for all of its roundtables and masterclasses. During the event proper, the point is to engage with fellow attendees and exchange insights on the subject matter at hand. However, Ortus encourages clients and guests to connect after the event to build meaningful business relationships, and hopefully continue this culture of executive knowledge-sharing beyond the venue.

The Ortus Club’s expertise in organising and running events has strengthened relationships with its long-time clients. Cloudflare, for example, after running a masterclass in partnership with The Ortus Club for IT and cybersecurity leaders in San Jose, California, hosted more roundtables and masterclasses with the company internationally throughout the rest of 2022.

The Ortus Club has organised over a thousand events for clients and guests across industries and around the world as of 2023. In the past year alone, the company hosted just over 500 events in partnership with new and returning clients alike.

A decade ago, Sam and Jess asked: ‘How great would it be if one could attend a single occasion entirely tailored to their prospects?’ Today, that question has been answered more than 1,000 times in over 100 countries, setting a global standard for how C-suite leaders can connect.
