Asia-Pacific, 21 August 2025 — Hosted by HackerOne in collaboration with The Ortus Club, this initiative marked a new chapter in the partnership between both organisations. Unlike traditional roundtable events, the project focused solely on direct appointment setting, connecting HackerOne’s sales teams with senior security and IT leaders across the Asia-Pacific region.

Over the two-month pilot, The Ortus Club’s dedicated outreach team led a targeted campaign designed to open doors for meaningful, one-on-one conversations. The result was a focused and highly effective initiative that delivered measurable results and laid the foundation for a scalable, long-term engagement model.

THE BRIEF

Connecting HackerOne with the Right Decision-Makers

HackerOne, a global leader in ethical hacking and vulnerability management, sought rapid and targeted market entry into the APAC region. The objective was to engage directly with senior decision-makers responsible for cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and DevSecOps transformation.

To achieve this, HackerOne partnered with The Ortus Club to launch a dedicated appointment-setting campaign aimed at driving strategic conversations with qualified prospects. Unlike traditional event-driven outreach, this project skipped the roundtable stage entirely and focused on securing one-on-one meetings that would generate real business opportunities.

THE INSIGHTS

What the Outreach Revealed

Throughout the outreach, clear patterns emerged in how senior leaders across APAC evaluate new cybersecurity partnerships. Prospects responded most positively to personalised communication, quick follow-ups, and clear alignment with their current security priorities. Decision-makers also valued concise messaging that highlighted practical outcomes rather than technical complexity. These insights helped refine the approach in real time and strengthened the quality of each booked meeting.

THE RESULTS

Turning Outreach into Business Opportunity
