ABOUT

In today’s challenging times it’s critical that manufacturers have the right workforce, with the right skillsets, to thrive in the digital era.  However, the unfortunate reality is that most manufacturers don’t feel that they have enough workers with the skills they need to perform in today’s ever more tech heavy and complex manufacturing environments.  This was the case prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the problem has become exponentially worse as manufacturers have been forced to rapidly increase their adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.

In this interactive round table discussion, facilitated by Avanade, you’ll have the opportunity to share input, ask questions and hear from industry experts about how manufacturers are meeting this challenge head-on. We will be discussing creative ways to hire, retain and upskill their workforce. Topics of discussion will include:

  • Identifying and attracting top talent
  • Establishing a culture of innovation, creativity and learning
  • Training, re-skilling and up-skill workers
  • Managing the challenges of an aging manufacturing workforce

This event is part of a special “Café Series,” which, in addition to delivering an engaging discussion on hard-hitting topics, also provides a complimentary metal coffee tumbler, artesian coffee and virtual entertainment.
