Changing Threats within Construction, Dinner Discussion

Registration is no longer possible

IT and operation leaders, predominately from the construction industry in LA are invited to join this roundtable dinner on “The Changing Threat Landscape within Construction”.

Greg Lush, KMicro CIO, will stimulate discussion between participants in a closed, confidential environment. He will guide the knowledge-sharing event alongside Rick Gehringer, Wedgewood CIO, who will walk attendees through his experience of managing the cybersecurity infrastructure of his real estate company. Registration is limited to a select number of guests per event.

All guests need to be fully vaccinated or have an official exemption. Upon arrival at the venue, guests will have to show their proof of vaccination or exemption to the venue staff.

The Changing Threat Landscape within Construction

Technology companies, among others, are largely the focus of cybercriminals and, consequently, national headlines. Their treasure troves of sensitive user (personally identifiable, financial, or medical) data often drive audiences to overlook another sector under attack: construction.

A recent ransomware incident at an Ontario-based construction firm is a glaring reminder that no one is truly safe against cybercrime. It begs the question of how decision-makers are adapting to the current situation and preparing for the future of their industry.

  • What are the top security challenges that construction companies face?
  • How can construction leaders balance accelerated technology adoption with a growing attack surface?
  • What role does security play in helping develop strategic construction partnerships?
