Examining the risk and security landscape in ANZ: Lessons from overseas

A recent Forrester report shows only about a third of decision-makers are confident they have the technologies, processes, and information to accurately obtain an early view of unexpected events. Most, if not all, recognise the need to stay abreast of all risks, but many are currently improvising their preparation.

Leveraging real-time information may be the key, but adoption and implementation are challenging. Data silos, ineffective cross-functional collaboration, and process inefficiencies bar the way towards success. Risk leaders must explore innovative solutions to unlock the accessibility, flexibility, and speed they require.

  • What lessons can be learned from abroad to better understand where ANZ risk management teams are positioned on the risk and physical security maturity curve?
  • What internal and external factors contribute to investment in an organisation’s risk and security?
  • How can risk and security teams influence change in organisational risk mitigation and security culture?
