IT Leaders: Predicating and Adapting to Private Education’s New Norm

The recent crisis has been a powerful catalyst for societal change that has served to underscore the critical importance of connectivity. Technology enabling a connected world along with the innovation in network connectivity is now on full display and few of the adaptations to how people work, study and socialise today would be possible without it.

The abrupt move towards remote learning has thrown up many immediate challenges for IT leaders in educational institutions. At the same time, a more cyber vulnerable world has emerged where the safeguarding personal information and data is of paramount importance. As unique new opportunities arise, one significant risk remains: the critical need for people to protect themselves online, and IT decision-makers of today must be prepared for these upcoming threats.

  • How are IT leaders making use of technology to their advantage to combat Covid-19 in private education?
  • In what ways are connectivity and access to modern education tools now vital in the private education landscape?
  • What will the future of private education in Malaysia look like? Will it change as a result of the pandemic?
