Rewriting the SecOps playbook with lessons from the pandemic

Registration is no longer possible

Security operations leaders in Singapore are invited to join this roundtable luncheon on ‘Rewriting the SecOps playbook with lessons from the pandemic’. It is a great opportunity to learn about the pivot to distributed workforces that SecOps teams quickly made and the longer-term changes they expect to see in 2021 and beyond.

The session will explore the range of approaches and tools that SecOps functions are taking and using to adjust to the current environment. Participants will also examine the changes being made as the situation evolves and remote working becomes a regular feature for a far greater proportion of the workforce.

An expert moderator will guide the knowledge-sharing event, stimulating discussion between attendees in a closed, confidential environment. Attendance is by invitation only and complimentary. Registration is limited to a certain number of guests per event.

Rewriting the SecOps playbook with lessons from the pandemic

SecOps functions have faced a greater number of increasingly sophisticated virtual attacks, a mass exodus of employees, and often their own relocation, with success dependent on numerous factors: their industry sector, the applicable regulations, and the calibre of their tools.

Distributed workforces now form the bulk of the global industry, and cloud technology is reshaping the landscape. In addition to embracing more agile best practices, leaders must prepare for The Next Big Thing towards future-proof business continuity.

  • What is the current state of SecOps? What are the challenges and changes?
  • How do earlier crises reflect the way companies responded to the current environment, particularly with technology adoption?
  • Will cloud be the determining factor in the future of SecOps? What other priorities are organisations considering?
