Shaping the University of the Future
Over the next decade, flexible approaches to learning supported through technology and new drivers in Life Long learning will mean education will need to reach out to engage students, and there is a greater need for specialization in curriculum and teaching methodologies than ever before. With these benefits of personalization comes the challenge of ensuring that university infrastructure and operations are in place to support the adaptation of technology on campus.
Administrators will need to weigh carefully how budget funds are spent, decide what emerging technologies show the most promise, and determine how best to support these technological advances to achieve smart campus through innovation.
We discussed topical issues relevant to senior executives of prominent universities and colleges based in Singapore. Topics include:
- How are the needs of Millennials and Generation Z changing today’s education
- What new academic initiatives should universities pursue to address long-term issues of fundamental importance?
