IT and operations leaders in North America are invited to join this roundtable dinner on “The changing security landscape of real estate”.

He will guide the knowledge-sharing event alongside Rick Gehringer, Wedgewood CIO, who will walk attendees through his experience of managing the cybersecurity infrastructure of his real estate company. Registration is limited to a select number of guests per event.

All guests need to be fully vaccinated or have an official exemption. Upon arrival at the venue, guests will have to show their proof of vaccination or exemption to the venue staff.

The changing security landscape of real estate

Today’s hackers can successfully target any industry, particularly those behind the curve for security—and real estate ranks high on that list. According to a recent KPMG report, 50 percent of surveyed real estate businesses feel they are not adequately prepared to prevent or mitigate a cyber-attack.

Unlike other industries, the real estate industry is not required by federal law to implement sufficient InfoSec programs. As a result, its systems are vulnerable to potential attacks. Real estate decision-makers now need to rethink their security measures if they are to not just survive but thrive.

  • What are the top security challenges that real estate companies face?
  • How can real estate leaders balance accelerated technology adoption with a growing attack surface?
  • What role does security play in helping develop strategic real estate partnerships?
