Mobile app usage in India has skyrocketed in recent years, with a recorded 850 million smartphone users in 2021 and an expected 1.3 billion within the next decade. 2021 was also an astronomical year for business growth, as over 40% of Indian unicorns were created in the past year alone. But as with all times of rapid growth, danger is often just around the corner.
In the Indian business landscape, the number of fraud attacks on mobile apps has doubled year on year. Fraudsters have derailed product launches, damaged reputations, and devastated growth, which begs the question. How are leaders adapting?
