The New Age Retail Lunch Discussion

Registration is no longer possible

The New Age Retail Lunch Discussion is a lunchtime knowledge-sharing session for leaders within UK-based Retailers. It’s a great chance to come together for discussion, debate, and learning on this topical issue affecting the industry today and in years to come.

During lunch, the panel will start the discussion on ‘The New Age of Retail’, particularly we will be exploring how retailers are collaborating with social media platforms to connect the virtual world to the last mile.

Registration is limited due to the room’s capacity and the intimate nature of our events.

The New Age of Retail, Connecting Virtual to The Last Mile

Companies no longer have to imagine the possibility of someone on Tiktok or Instagram watching an unboxing video of a product they sell and having the same product in their hands just a few hours later. This is already a reality.

In a world with unprecedented pressures on logistics, brands must connect market intelligence from social media sites with supply chains to ensure last-mile services can quickly and easily get stock into customers’ hands. Data intelligence and automation may then be the key, with APIs centralising the necessary data while automating the process of buying the right stock and delivering it to customers.

  • How are UK and global companies using social media to get the fine-grained market insights they need to make precise decisions about their supply?
  • What measures are leaders taking to automate each step of their processes and accomplish major efficiency gains?
  • How can organisations easily and repetitively integrate several sites to avoid duplication of effort?
