The new face of collections: Improving field-productivity bottom up

Registration is no longer possible.

Banking and finance leaders in Jakarta, Indonesia are invited to join this roundtable luncheon on ‘The new face of collections: Improving field-productivity bottom up’.

Experts are advising insurers to move towards digitising their modules too, but is digitising the back-end enough? Is digitising the front-end and sellers equally important? Things could, in theory, still work without as much enablement, but will enabling the sales team make or break insurance sales?

An expert moderator will guide the knowledge-sharing event, stimulating discussion between participants in a closed, confidential environment. Attendance is by invitation only and complimentary.

The new face of collections: Improving field-productivity bottom up

Lenient payment terms and the potential for lengthy and costly legal actions make it difficult to collect debt payments in Indonesia. According to a 2018 Collection Complexity Score and Rating report by Euler Hermes, the country ranked seventh, where the challenge of collecting unpaid debts is ‘severe’.

Multiple market factors indicate the increased strategic importance of digital collections for lenders. One of these is COVID and the economic uncertainties it has caused. Additionally, with many lending markets maturing, the field-heavy collections process is where many cost-saving efficiencies can be unlocked. Empowering the front line with the correct digital tools can potentially be a fast and effective solution for this growing industry-wide challenge.

  • What are the drivers and challenges to digitising collections from the inside out? How will enabling sales teams make a difference in collections processes?
  • How will collections evolve over the next five years? How much of this is in response to the COVID shakeup?
  • What types of tools would collections teams require to maximise productivity?
