Virtual Masterclass
The priorities of IT & Cybersecurity leaders during and after the pandemic
Major disasters often accelerate changes that are already taking place in the IT industry. As a consequence of the COVID-19 global pandemic, business leaders had no choice but to perfect remote delivery and work models, for example. They also started outsourcing more work to offsite and offshore staff, accelerating their move towards RPA and service automation, and restructuring contracts to be both outcomes-based and focused on integrated business capabilities across the front and back office.
- What are the main challenges faced by IT leaders today? And how are they overcoming them? (e.g. reorganization of IT delivery, possible force majeure events with vendors, a requirement to renegotiate support agreements with third parties)
- With a large population of employees working from home, how are IT leaders ensuring secure networks? (With service providers unable to deliver, are more companies setting up their own in-house solutions?)
- What are the long term impacts that COVID-19 will have on the role of the CISO? (e.g. Will a return to normal operations result in a higher level of risk than organisations experienced prior to the pandemic?)
- What long-term impacts will the pandemic have on IT services?
