The State of Digital Accessibility in 2020
Each year brings new developments in technology and new challenges for accessibility. That means that more must be done to be inclusive so that everyone can benefit equally from the advances that make our lives more efficient, more fun and more interesting.
The digital advancements happening in 2020, just as those seen in recent years, will be influenced by the need for accessibility to be at the front of each development effort. We can thank the Americans With Disabilities Act and W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for this.
We are bringing together a group of prominent general counsels in North America to discuss and learn about the following issues:
- How will digital accessibility evolve? What will the next version of the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines look like?
- What are companies in the US doing to become and/or remain compliant?
- What are the specific challenges general counsels face when driving change within their organizations?
