Powered by machine learning, AI is excellent at finding patterns in data. Credit companies have heaps of information regarding past customers, ranging from demographic and sociographic insights to payment schedule adherence. It follows that these tools can show the risk of default with high accuracy.
Among the key drivers for adoption of AI and machine learning (ML) is the level of insight it offers into customers, markets and competitors, as well as the cost and time advantages of automating processes. As it continues to develop, it can identify patterns for FIs to offer bespoke services to their customers. Though it is still in its nascent stage the speed at which it is progressing to evolve different sectors, can we expect that the prospects are going to lead to minor losses and smarter trading?
