Event marketing allows me to combine my passion for socialising with my skills in organisation, creativity, and strategic thinking. It’s a fast-paced and dynamic field that keeps me on my toes, and I love the challenge of solving complex problems and making things happen.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is witnessing the success of our data-driven strategies, creative content, and other marketing initiatives. Furthermore, seeing all our hard work come to life at our events and exceeding our client’s expectations is incredibly rewarding.

I thrive on the adrenaline rush of live events and the opportunity to connect with fascinating people from various industries. I’m always learning and growing; I feel fortunate to have a career that blends my passion for building connections with my talent for strategic planning, and I am thankful to be a part of such a dynamic industry.

What does being a woman in the workplace mean to you? Does it inform your leadership?

As a woman in a leadership position, I’ve encountered unique challenges and embraced the opportunities to make a positive impact. I’m proud to bring my experiences and insights to the table, and I’m committed to empowering other women and underrepresented groups in the workplace.

Through my role, I strive to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their full potential. Drawing from my own observations and experiences, such as witnessing the predominance of male C-level executives at events, I’m driven to promote equality and ensure that our events and teams reflect the rich diversity of our society. By actively working towards this goal, I aim to foster a culture of acceptance and equal opportunities for all, irrespective of gender, race, or background.

It’s crucial to celebrate women’s achievements, offer mentorship, and create opportunities for growth. Networking and building a supportive community are also essential. By working together and advocating for equal opportunities, we can create a more inclusive and diverse industry.
