Mara De La Paz is Head of Event Performance, Global at The Ortus Club, and the longest-serving member of the team, having joined in 2016 when the company was still in its first year of operation. She is responsible for ensuring that every project, across every region, performs to the standard that clients have come to expect.

Over nine years, Mara has held almost every operational role the company has created: Project Coordinator, Team Leader, Head of Operations, Global Head of Operations, and now Global Head of Performance. That depth means she does not manage performance from a distance. She has run these projects herself, understands every pressure point in the system, and knows precisely where to intervene when something is at risk. Her defining quality is a grind mentality combined with sharp instincts for creative problem-solving in high-stakes moments. She holds herself to the same standard she sets for her team, and the trust she has earned from the founders and colleagues alike over nearly a decade is a credential no title can replicate.
