Now, with a focus on Latin America, CleverTap looked to The Ortus Club to connect them with target accounts and deliver qualified leads as they had done on many occasions prior. The Ortus Club also has a track record of expertise, having hosted countless knowledge-sharing events with other leading organisations on marketing, customer experience, IT, data, product, and marketing technology—all fields CleverTap wanted to hone in on.

Their machine-learning models are used by thousands every single day to orchestrate differentiated customer engagement strategies that help marketers drive omnichannel growth.
The challenge
The marketing field is undergoing a significant change due to rapidly evolving customer behaviours and preferences. Being one of the leading names in martech and retention, this presented the perfect opportunity for CleverTap to grow, create new partnerships, and enter new markets. In this case, CleverTap wanted, specifically, to grow their presence in Latin America.
Our solution
The Ortus Club has extensive experience hosting events in the region, having organised a number of roundtables in Brazil and Mexico in the past. This made for the perfect partnership as The Ortus Club continues to organise events for CleverTap in Latin America, with events in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico planned out throughout 2023 and, most likely, beyond.
CleverTap and The Ortus Club mounted a series of knowledge-sharing events, where marketing, IT, product, and growth leaders from a number of different industries could discuss the impact of personalisation on consumer behaviour and business growth, and, ultimately, for CleverTap to exhibit their efficacy in facilitating this transformation.

From December 2022 to April 2023, the two companies hosted 5 in-person events across Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. The Ortus Club was able to engage 82 senior executives across the three locations, hosting 53 at their roundtable dinners.
In the short span of 5 months, a total of 47 follow-up meetings were organised by The Ortus Club, allowing CleveTap to take the reins push these newly acquired qualified leads through their funnel. Executives expressed a heightened interest in CleverTap’s platform, recognising its potential to augment their personalisation efforts, foster loyalty, and drive long-term growth. There was a significant uptick in CleverTap’s demonstration requests and platform trials following the roundtables, indicating a positive response to the discussions and a clear interest in the platform.

At the beginning of 2022, AWS sought to provide business leaders across APAC with critical insights on the benefits of their cloud, AI/ML, and metaverse solutions in optimising operations and driving revenue. To accomplish this objective, AWS partnered with The Ortus Club, to support their B2B lead generation.
Prior to the campaign, AWS and The Ortus Club collaborated in 2020 and 2021 to drive the IT giant’s outreach efforts in enterprise analytics and remote customer engagement. The Ortus Club helped AWS expand its advocacy, reach hundreds of top-level decision-makers, and successfully mount 16 knowledge-sharing events within the Asia-Pacific region.
From February to November 2022, both companies hosted 7 in-person events across 3 major cities and 9 virtual events for business leaders within APAC. Overall, The Ortus Club engaged 206 senior executives, meeting 165 throughout a series of roundtables and masterclasses, and saw an attendance rate of 81.8%: 74.4% for in-person events and 86.3% for virtual events.
At the end of this 9-month-long project, The Ortus Club and AWS yielded over 50 follow-up contacts from attendees, who requested that AWS assess their existing cloud-driven business development strategies and provide long-term solutions.
Following the success of this collaboration, AWS will continue working The Ortus Club in 2023, aiming to explore even better opportunities to connect worldwide. Currently, they have 10 events slotted for APAC and other regions, with talks of more on the way.
